“I am a woman, what’s your superpower ?”
I was completely inspired to do this post by all the amazing women who organized and participated in the “Women’s March On Washington”. Although I was not able to attend as I am traveling at the moment, I was in awe of the solidarity that was displayed on January 21rst . 2017. As the now–famous saying goes, ”women’s rights are human rights.” That is to say, women are entitled to all of these rights. Yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, often simply because of their gender. Well we made it loud and clear that we as woman have no interest in moving backwards but only onwards and beyond. We must continue to fight, not only for what’s right for us, but for future generations to flourish.
