Who else is all for no fuss dressing? One of my absolute favorite go to looks for the holiday season is an edgy dress paired back to a sexy thigh high boot. There is something about an effortlessly chic dress that hardly needs to be accessorized.
Cooling out in my culottes
Spring has sprung or have we totally skipped Spring and fast forwarded to Summer? It sure does feel that way here in NYC, but hey I’m not complaining! Here I’ve mixed a sporty casual look that is still polished enough to be worn to the office and has just the right amount of edge for a fun night out. One of the must have pieces of the season is “The Culotte”. Many brands offer their own versions from light flirty fabrics ,denim, to jacquards like the one I am wearing.
Prep School Remix
I had fun here by remixing this preppy look. I added a couple unexpected details to make the outfit a little more playful & less serious. I chose a baby blue leather skirt with a preppy sweater & jeweled hat complimented by socks and heels .Yes you read correctly, socks with heels ! I thought it added a nice update to the overall look. Hey life’s too short for boring clothes right? I always try to have fun with it!
