With the passing of the people’s champ comes great sadness as well as reflection. Not just reflection on Muhammad Ali’s many accomplishments but his many messages that will continue to live on and inspire. His teachings of perseverance, inner peace and humility have impacted my life with such force. As the old saying goes…”Study the greats and become great”
As many of you have noticed I took a little break from blogging. Sometimes life throws some mean upper cuts your way and it’s up to you to lace your gloves up and come out your corner swinging. That’s literally what I did! I found solace in boxing. It is an excellent way to get express all your emotions without saying a word. I needed this, I needed something to remind me how truly powerful I am. Boxing reminded me of that. When I leave training I’m ready to conquer things that I may have questioned in the past or been too afraid to try because of fear of failing. Having faith be greater than fear has become is my mantra. We are all put on this earth to be the greatest version or ourselves, why deprive the world of your incredible your gifts?

While many will immediately deem a goal impossible, for the right type of person, that doubt leads to untold motivation. What ever your vision for your life may be, no matter how big or ridiculous it may seem to other people always come out your corner swinging and keep going no matter how many rounds you have to fight.
Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were.
