Make your bridesmaid dresses cool again

I’m sure we all have at least one bridesmaid dress hanging in our closet that we probably wouldn’t wear again. I had so much fun making this dress cool again. Shearling coats in beautiful shades from mint green, pale pinks to powder blues are trending at the moment and I couldn’t resist trying this head to toe look. I think there’s something so refreshing about wearing pastels in the winter.

Victorian Inspired

I typically like the juxtaposition of feminine and masculine. Here with an ode to the Victorian period, I paired a flirty gauze dress that I imagine could have been used as a slip under their elaborate dresses . I gave it a modern touch by pairing it with an embellished bolero jacket and motorcycle boots.

Denim x Grey – NYFW Day 4

To clarify the meaning of monochromatic dressing, it is using one color in different shades or the same shade from head to toe. (Mono=one, chromatic=color) This is one of the easiest ways of dressing and always looks chic & well put together. For day four of NYFW I wanted a more relaxed casual look. I went for an over sized sweatshirt dress,thigh high boots and a distressed denim jacket.
